Today we got an eyeful of County Kerry in Ireland. County Kerry is in the southwest region of Ireland and it’s a mix of scenic vistas and mountain views. Driving in Ireland can be extremely nerve racking so we decided to keep things easy and take a bus instead.

We started our morning off right with some good Irish Coffee, well actually Ryan had Irish Coffee and Melissa had Baileys.

After our quick trip to the cafe we were back on our way touring the Ring of Kerry. The views were gorgeous, here’s a little look at our views from the bus.

We made a quick stop to take a look at the coast. Behind us you can see the Dingle Peninsula, it’s a gorgeous place to visit and if you ever get the chance you should see it.

We got back in the bus and continued driving around the ring until we hit Sneem, Ireland. Sneem is a small town on the Ring of Kerry, the river “Sneem” runs through the town. You can take a quick look at the river below. The town was also a favorite vacation spot for some big Irish writers including George Bernard Shaw. For those who don’t know one of Melissa’s tattoo’s is based on a George Bernard Shaw quote, she didn’t realize he was Irish until this trip.

Once we made it back to the bus we headed up into the mountains on the way back to Killarney. We saw some gorgeous views and even had a chance to visit the Torc waterfall in Killarney National Park.
