Well today was interesting. We started the morning off completely exhausted. Last night was Saturday night and Galway is a college town. So that somehow translated to two separate people ringing the doorbell and slamming on the door of our guesthouse…for about two hours straight. We’re still not sure that we got the whole story from the individuals working at the guest house(mainly how they didn’t seem to hear them) but in any case we started the day exhausted.

We tried to get ourselves geared up for the day though, which meant loading up on caffeine. The first stop on the tour for the day was the Aillwee Caves. We got the chance to do a quick tour through the caves and learn a little about their history…

Then we loaded ourselves back into the bus and headed over to the Cliffs of Moher. Melissa has been to the cliffs twice but a lot has changed since her last 2 visits, namely that you can’t go right up the edge on the main section. We did manage to get close on a few of the other sections though. The cliffs were amazing…

After the Cliffs we headed back to Galway. We did work in a quick castle photo-op because any day in Ireland without a castle just wouldn’t be right…lol

Now we’re going to go pass out from exhaustion and pray that we don’t get a 2 am wake up call again.

Happy Travels,

Ryan & Melissa
