The weather is definitely taking a turn for the worse in the UK. Which means we’re getting excited to start heading south and warm up a little. However before we do that we’ve got one more country to visit up in the cold…Scotland.

We officially made it into Scotland today. We had another ferry ride from Belfast to a town north of Glasgow in Scotland. We’ve been doing the math and we think we’re at about seventeen ferry rides since we started the trip…we’re officially over them at this point and hopefully we’ll be done with them soon.

After we got off the ferry it was onto another bus to make it to Glasgow. The transition was pretty smooth with the exception that we had no Scottish Pounds, so we had to scramble and buy tickets via our phone and Wi-Fi. It worked out though and we were on our way to our final destination for the day.

Thankfully we had a break in the deluge of downpours going on throughout the day. It gave us just enough time to walk to our hotel without getting drenched. We’re headed out to grab dinner now and then it’s hiding from the rain for the night.

Happy Travels,

Ryan & Melissa
