It’s cold again today and our flurries have turned into a little snowstorm, we had about 3 – 4 inches of snow by the end of the day. We’re really hoping this doesn’t impact our flights to Montenegro tomorrow. There’s no use in worrying though, after all we’re on our own schedule so we don’t need to stress about showing up somewhere late.

First up on our list of things to do today was breakfast at Café Central. We each ordered a delicious breakfast that filled us up for most of the day. Not to mention that the service was great and the venue was awesome. Here’s a look at Café Central…

After we were filled up it was back to St. Stephen’s Cathedral. Like we mentioned yesterday there was actually a ton of things to do at the cathedral. We did an audio-guided tour of the cathedral’s highlights. Ryan and Melissa did theirs in Spanish, Brooke was gracious enough to relay the English version afterwards. Then it was off to the catacombs where we saw a lot of bones and victims of the black plague. Finally, it was up the north and south towers of the cathedral for some striking views…

The Sigmund Freud Museum was our next planned stop. Brooke studied Sigmund Freud in her recent studies so she was able to bring Ryan and Melissa up to speed before we made it to the museum. A very interesting story we learned from the museum was about cocaine. In short, not only did Sigmund Freud occasionally use cocaine but he also thought he could help cure his friend of a morphine addiction by giving him cocaine. Of course his friend was no longer addicted to morphine, he switched out his addiction for cocaine. We’re pretty sure we could have told him it doesn’t work that way…

After the Sigmund Freud Museum we headed to grab lunch at the “Burger Bar” which ended up being pretty good. Now it’s off to tie up a few loose ends from our planning session yesterday. Tomorrow we’re off to Montenegro.

Happy Travels,

Brooke, Ryan & Melissa
